By enlarge EGIS is high gloss solid bleach board which especially designed to serve premium segment for both packaging and graphical arts. The substance is available from 180 up to 350 gsm in sheet and reel form. This product is produced thru cast coating machine but the characteristic is different as compared with Regular Cast Coated Board.
The base paper and coating color of EGIS is specially designed and different than regular Cast Coated Board. The objective is to meet the criteria for premium packaging i.e. good die cutting, good rigidity, quick ink drying time, good folding endurance and meet with various post press jobs such as embossing, debossing, die cutting, folding and glueing, hot stamping, metalizing etc. Our benchmark is SBB paperboard such as Enso Coat and Iggesund.
The salient features of EGIS are as follows:
1. Excellent gloss before and after printing.
2. Excellent smoothness; perfect surface for both solid block and halftone printing and metalizing application.
3. Produce with backside treatment which is required mostly for cosmetic and perfume packaging since sometimes the backside is printed with medium to deep color inks.
4. Quick ink drying time.
5. Made with 100% chemical pulp.
6. Food grade and certified with US FDA which is required for cosmetic and perfume application.
7. Better stiffness and folding endurance.
8. Printing method: Offset, rotogravure and flexogravure.
9. Suitable for converting process i.e. hot stamping, die cutting, embossing, debossing, etc.
End application: perfume packaging, cosmetic packaging, pharmaceutical packaging, luxury post card, etc.
